VISITING MONTSERRAT FOR LISTENING THE SPECIAL RECITAL OF  "ESCOLANIA DE MONTSERRAT" CHOUR'S.





I went to Montserrat to visit the mountain and the cathedral of Montserrat on April 27 with my husband and James. April 27 is a special day because it is the day of the virgin. We were invited to the special concert in memory of Anselm Ferrer, my husband's uncle. Master Ferrer was an important member of the monastery of Montserrat and for several years he was the director of "Escolania". He was also an important composer of music to be sung by the choir.
"L'escolania" is a choir of white voices that has international prestige and that on that day they sang songs created by Anselm Ferrer.

Being the Mother of God day, we could hear a concert of all the bells of the monastery, whose sound filled the whole space, which was a striking experience.


 I had to explain many things from Montserrat to James and, in my opinion, he felt special moments while the choir sang the songs as well as with the special atmosphere that created the sound of the bells.

It is a series of actuality it is interesting to watch it with the children and offer them the opportunity to talk about intimidation and abuse because it is the responsibility of the whole society. It is a great opportunity to get them to talk about their experiences. It also shows the importance of not being spectators, being courageous and denouncing them.

After seeing Dowton Abbey, I commented with my classmates that I liked, Carmen told me that I recommended seeing The Crown because it was a similar series and the pronunciation was also clear. This series shows the life of the Royal family with all the restrictions and contradictions. The characterization of the actors is very good, there are moments that seem to really see them as the truths. But in my opinion, in our time, real dynasties would be part of the past.
